Situated 10 minutes from The QE2 Bridge, M25 Thames Crossing, and The Lakeside Shopping Complex, in the village of South Ockendon, on the B186
Thurrock Garden Centre celebrated it’s 25th anniversary back in 2003. Over the years we have grown into a large gardening experience including building a new undercover walkway easy to view layout of the outdoor plants. This family run Centre, a member of The Horticultural Trades Association and The Garden Centre Association, has in the past won many awards at the prestigious Chelsea Flower Show and hosts regular demonstrations in the Spring and Summer months. This year we are entering the Hampton Court Flower Show Hanging Basket Competition.
The six acre site has a wide range of Gifts, Ceramics, Candles, Stationery, Books and House Plants. The range and quality of the Outdoor Plants, the huge display of Terracotta/Stoneware items and the comprehensive variety of Paving and Fencing allows customers to spend much time browsing and selecting their purchases.
Our restaurant, The Garden Café, with its new indoor/outdoor extension, is definitely the place for a snack break or a restful lunch, especially on Sundays. A delightful and convenient meeting place for friends.
No problems with parking either, we have a very large car park.
Open Monday to Saturday 9am-5.30pm Sunday 10.30-4.30
