Q: Can I keep my Geraniums for next year?
A: Before the first frost lift and shake off soil. Pot plants into a tight pot and keep in a frost free environment. Only water if the leaves start to droop.
Q: Will my Cyclamen last through the winter?
A: There are some hardy varieties usually found in the alpines. The more showy plants will withstand a fairly low temperature. Plant in a tub and store close to a protective walll.
Q: Are my bedding Dahlias hardy?
A: Tubers may be lifted and stored for planting next year.
Q: What should I do with my hardy Fuchsias for the winter?
A: Cut them low in the autumn and heap some soil around the roots.
Q: I have bought my bedding plants and they are rotting?
A: You probably have bought them too early. Regular watering is required, however be aware of the cold, remember to cover up if frost is forecast.
