Plant of the Month for July

Hydrangea

Hydrangea have striking flower heads in different shapes, including mophead & lacecap.

They grow best in moist, well-drained soil and part shady areas. They will thrive in most soil types, however pink flowers will appear blue if the soil is acidic. To maintain, the colour blue, use ericaceous soil.

Did you know? Hydrangea Colourant can be purchased from our 'Garden Care Shop' to change pink hydrangeas to blue. This can also be added to maintain a vivid blue colour.
