Wellness Event: Sip & Pottery Paint
Join the "Kiln Wizard - Fire Your Imagination” team and experience a relaxed, hands-on ceramic decoration (pottery painting) session. You will learn about the core principles of glaze application with professional instruction.
Date: Wednesday 8th July 2026
Time: 10-12pm. Please arrive 10minutes early to choose your pottery.
Where: Our private event space, in Woody’s restaurant.
Ticket: £12 which includes unlimited filter coffee and tea for the duration of the session.
An additional fee is paid on the day directly to 'Kiln Wizard,' for the piece of pottery you would like to paint. These vary in price from £15. Cash payment is preferred, although card is accepted.
'The Kiln Wizard' instructors provide gentle but active support to guide you through technique & colour application. Following your session, they will take your masterpieces back to their studio to glaze & fire them. They will then be returned to Thurrock Garden Centre within two weeks & they will contact you to let you know when they are ready.
The session suits newcomers to ceramics as well as those who’ve done it before. It’s a lovely opportunity to spend creative time with friends and family and ideal for those seeking a distinctive gift activity. The relaxed format ensures both, skill development & creative enjoyment.
